Install Alma

The process of installing Alma Linux 8 is similar to Fedora, except this is only installation media. Always use the minimal install, server should be only installed and configured explicitly.

Boot off the ISO image, you see GRUB:

You first need to select a language:

The, go through the various options, notably the network configuration:

And adding a user:

Once the installation is done, click complete and the host will reboot to the login prompt:
